Typhoon Basyang/ Conson. This is my first time to ever experience such calamity.
I mean like yeah I was already here when Philippines had Milenyo and Ondoy but it was nothing compare to what happened last night. The wind was sooo strong that I could hear things hitting our roof. I even feel like our roof would be flying away too.
The sound was getting more scary around 3am. I texted mom and I feel like crying… I know she’s worrying but she couldn’t do anything either. What I did after we talked was held the rosary on my hand and pray till I fell asleep. I’ll never forget that night.
Thank God nothing bad happened to us. It taught me lessons though…
- Stocked foods are really important.
- Water is a major need during these times. I should tell mom that we need extra pales and water containers.
- Candles… more candles.
- Keep extra money in case of emergency. Don’t keep everything in your ATM.
Hello prelims. Oh yes, next week will be our preliminary exams. Welcome back pressure!
Sad thing is, I feel like I haven’t learned anything. Okay I know I’m a week late but how come the things I have to study is lesser compare to last sem’s prelim period? Hmmm… that’s weird.
Or maybe because I only have 5 subjects now unlike last sem….? Whatever.
Now I have to take this seriously. I mean I have noticed myself being this “easy-easy” student during prelim exams… not putting much effort. So basically the foundation of my grades are not… errr… high. And when midterm and finals arrive… I’m cramming and soooo pressured to attain the grades I want. I know… it’s also my fault. hahaha.
[edit] I already saw my prelims schedule. Guess what? I only have four exams! Ohhh yyeeeaaaaahhh! Well it’s because there will be no written examination in Experimental Psychology but errrrr… we have title defense in our research. Darn, this is much pressure now. I just hope I can get things done without cramming my ass off. But I realized… some people tend to have better works in the presence of pressure. I think I’m one of them.
So hopefully after prelims, on my next update I’ll be able to share some pictures I have taken.

For those who don’t know… I have my project 52 using tumblr. Haha. And you can add me in twitter too. C’mon let’s get connected!
Alright. Since topics are constantly bugging my brain, I have finally decided to talk about the subjects I am taking this semester. I hope you will not find it boring because I myself find these topic interesting. Let me share this to you.
Technical Writing
…means writing at the work place. WTH? Haha. This is my only minor subject left till 4th year. Oh yeah! Hopefully at the end of the semester I’ll be able to compose writings technically. I have to get used to the rules because I have a strong feeling Tine will be at the HR Department if she will not go to Med. school. Oh actually, I have no excuse for writing resumes, application letters blah, blah, blah whichever path I choose after graduating.
You write to express, not to impress.
First Achievement: I haven’t achieved this yet because instead of doing my ever first brochure, I am typing this update of mine. Haha. Nice right? I have an excuse though… I cannot think of any interest in mind right now that’s why you are reading this and not seeing my sample brochure. LOL.
You can call me Tine. Twenteen. I adore Hello Kitty, butterflies and hearts. I'm a young lady who loves blue rather than pink. A college junior majoring in AB Psychology. Neuropsychologist in the making? I hope so. You'd see me more often in the streets of Dasmariñas or in Manila having fun with friends but I still consider Abu Dhabi as my haven.

I hate memorizing nowadays especially those parts of the body. It’s sooooo elementary and highschool where you memorized every province in the Philippines and its capital city plus those darn Taxonomy. Kingdom, Phylum, shits and shits! Grrrrrrr! Hahaha.
