Okay… the picture above is my current desktop. I just wanna share how cute goku is and take a look at the part where I have encircled. Those are the projects and researches I have to comply before final examination ends. It’s somehow pressuring me because I want to get high grades on those. They are my only hope to be able to have the target grades I want. The defense in Filipino research will be on Monday. I just hope we can deliver our research well. Wish me luck! And… oh… I have asked this on plurk. What does a methodology composed of? I mean do I have to put a related literature here or what? Please suggest anything how can I make it better. (You see… our project last midterm was supposedly 90%. But that (insert word here) professor changed it to 85% with a comment of “Improve your methodology.” I was the one who did the methodology so I put the blame on myself for getting that grade. Deymit!) Now… I’m researching and looking for examples as my basis. Can you like help me clarify what do I have to include? I’d appreciate it very much. :)

Finally… my midterm grades are complete. Some subjects went low while others went high. Check out my stat grade! Go take a look at it. Hahaha. I’m sooooooooooooooo fckn happy! Wiiieeee!!! From 1.75 it went up to 2.0. I have improved. Lol. I hope I can have higher grades this final term and hopefully get a 3.0 GPA for this semester. ;P

Who is Independent here? *Tine raises hand.* Let me share this experience of mine ever since I went back from Abu Dhabi. During my last days there, I was feeling both scared and excited. Scared in a way that  I’ll be going to college and it will only be me, myself and Kristine. Haha. :)) Excited because that is a new chapter in my life. I even remember listing the positive and negative sides of being alone, no family to be there except friends.

Advantages?

  1. I can go wherever I want. You see, I love traveling. I have visited places like there, there and there. (hahaha I can’t mention the provinces since my parents might be reading this. Lol) :SIPOL
  2. I can do everything I want. I mean like I wash my clothes whenever I want, I eat whatever I want without my mom telling me not to eat this and that. Haha. It feels good to be free. ;P
  3. No curfew. Well… somehow. I just love the feeling how nobody restricts me from going home late. :P

Disadvantages?

  1. Fckn home sickness. Those who are staying in a dormitory know how bad it exactly feels without anyone asking you if you have eaten already or if you are sick or simply ask how’s your day etc.
  2. No one guiding you. Since I’m alone and free, no one reminds me of the things I am doing. I lack parental guidance though we talk most of the time.
  3. Possibility of dropping out. Haha. This is kind of possible especially to those people who lack control of themselves. (Thank God I have dreams which make me think twice before engaging into some…. you know.) ;)

Own lessons I have learned?

  1. No man is really an island. I may be independent for learning stuff I have never ever imagined doing before but without those people around me like relatives and friends… I don’t think I’ll ever survive.
  2. Sacrifices. My time now is being sacrificed because I’m responsible doing chores at home like preparing for our food etc. (We have decided not to get a helper for it will cost too much). Instead of hanging out with friends, I usually go home and do my thing. It’s fun though.
  3. I SOMEHOW learn how to budget money. Money as our personal allowance and the house budget. Grocery-ing and going to public market are the two things I love doing now. It’s also fun.

Right now, I can say I am almost independent. Almost because until now I ask money from my parents. But when it comes to things independent people do… I think I am qualified to be called such. :KXCITED

Questions:

  1. Are you staying in a dormitory/boarding house?
  2. Do you think you’re also independent?

P.S.

Thank you guys for commenting on my previous post. Appreciate it a lot. :MWAH
